- Place the bacon on a rack that is in a shallow pan in the toaster oven.

You don’t need any special equipment per se, but it helps if you have a little baking sheet that fits in your toaster oven and a rack that fits inside of it.

How Long To Cook Bacon in a Toaster Oven
You’ll want to set your toaster oven on 400 degrees and cook for 9 minutes for standard thickness bacon, center cut.
If you are using thick sliced bacon or if you bought the inexpensive bacon that is very thin, the cooking times may vary. Thick bacon will take longer, thin stringy bacon will cook more quickly.

You’ll want to cook your bacon at 400 degrees in the toaster oven for about 9 minutes.

Should I Use an Air Fryer or Toaster Oven
If you have a toaster oven, it’s just as effective to cook crispy bacon in the toaster oven as it is to make it in the air fryer.
Using an air fryer may or may not cook your bacon more quickly but it won’t make it more crispy.

There’s no need to cover the bacon with foil. The bacon really doesn’t spatter, the grease will run into the pan. Be careful when removing the bacon because the grease will be HOT!

Ingredients
- 4 strips bacon center cut, regular thickness is best
Instructions
- Set the rack into the tray.
- Stretch the 4 pieces of bacon across the rack. Set aside.
- Set the toaster oven on 400 degrees.
- When the toaster oven is preheated, place the rack into the toaster oven.
- Set timer for 9 minutes.
- Check the bacon at 9 minutes and it should be done, allow longer if it doesn't look as crispy as you like. Remove the tray. Allow it to cool slightly. Remove the bacon with tongs or a fork and serve hot.
