- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 drops fish sauce
- ¼ cup green onions chopped
- 24 wonton wrappers
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees
In a medium sized bowl, combine the cream cheese, soy sauce onion and garlic powders, fish sauce and green onions.
Place a small amount of the cream cheese filling into each wonton (about 1 tsp).
Fold the wonton by wetting the edges with water and then bringing the edges up together and pressing together (see the video with this recipe)
Fry in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 10 mins.
- The most important tip is to avoid overfilling the wonton. It's so easy to do. Only put about a teaspoon of filling in the wonton before sealing it up.
- Fish sauce sounds so gross but it is really a key ingredient! It adds an undeniable punch of flavor that will have everyone saying "Why is this so GOOD?"
- You can seal the wonton several ways, watch the video below to see how I did it. But you can bring the middle centers together too and that will work.
- Make sure to use water to help the wonton to stick together.
- It is super important that the cream cheese be room temperature. Don't try to warm it in the microwave, just wait for it to be softened naturally.
