Equipment

  • 1 bowl
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 baking sheet

Ingredients

  • Green Onions
  • Diced pimentos drained
  • Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Shredded pepper jack cheese
  • Cream cheese softened
  • Bisquik
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Pork sausage

Instructions

  • Preheat oven and prepare baking sheets: Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat.
  • In a bowl add your chopped green onion, diced and drained pimentos, shredded cheese, cream cheese, and spices
  • To the cheese mixture, crumble in the pork sausage and add the bisquick. Use your hands to gently incorporate the sausage until evenly distributed.
  • Form the sausage balls: Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll them between your palms to form bite-sized balls. Place the sausage balls on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  • Bake the sausage balls for 18-22 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Rotate the baking sheets halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
  • Remove the sausage balls from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes. If desired, serve warm, and garnish with additional green onions.
