- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Sugar
- ¼ teaspoon Almond Extract
- ½ teaspoon Butter Extract
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Add water, sugar, and extracts to your sauce pot
Stir to combine
Place on stove on medium heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stir occasionally
Remove from stove and let cool
Store in an air tight container in the fridge for up to two weeks
- The longer you simmer the syrup the thicker it will become. For a thinner syrup only simmer for 12-15 minutes
- Almond extract is very strong, so be careful when adding it
- Play around with different extracts to make different kinds of "cookie" syrups!
